Nathan Jones (born 25 June 1973) is a Welsh professional football manager and former player.
As a player, Jones primarily operated as a left-back. His playing career spanned from the early 1990s to the mid-2010s, featuring appearances in the English Football League and other leagues. He notably played for Luton Town across two spells, becoming a cult hero at the club. Other clubs he played for include Merthyr Tydfil, Romford, Southend United, Brighton & Hove Albion, Yeovil Town, and Crawley Town.
Following his playing career, Jones moved into coaching and management. He served as first-team coach at Charlton Athletic and as assistant manager at Brighton & Hove Albion.
He has managed clubs including Luton Town (twice) and Stoke City. His managerial style is often characterised by a high-pressing, attacking philosophy. His tenures at Luton Town are generally considered successful, leading the club to promotion from League Two and establishing them in League One. His time at Stoke City was less successful. He later managed Southampton in the Premier League.
