Other Uses

This railway facility was primarily a freight and limited passenger stop and has since been decommissioned. Detailed contemporary information about this former railway station is limited.

Etymology

South Garden (南苑, Nányuàn) is a literal translation of the Chinese characters, referring historically to a garden or imperial park located to the south of the central city. The term has been retained in modern place names, including the airport and the transit stations that serve the area.
