Musaabad Rural District (Persian: دهستان موسیآباد) is an administrative subdivision (dehestan) located within the Central District of Asadabad County, Hamadan Province, Iran. As a rural district, it serves as a jurisdictional grouping for several villages and surrounding agricultural lands under the national administrative hierarchy of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
According to the 2006 National Census, the population of Musaabad Rural District was 10,742, comprising 2,425 families. The administrative center and namesake of the district is the village of Musaabad. The region is predominantly characterized by its rural economy, which traditionally relies on agriculture and livestock farming, typical of the fertile plains within the Hamadan Province.
The district is situated in the western portion of Iran, a region defined by its proximity to the Alvand mountain range. Administratively, it falls under the governance of Asadabad County, which is one of the primary divisions of Hamadan Province. Like other rural districts in the country, it is governed by a Dehdar (district administrator) and falls under the oversight of the county's governorship.
