As CEO, Bansal was instrumental in driving Myntra's growth, market leadership, and brand recognition within the competitive Indian e-commerce landscape. In 2014, Myntra was acquired by
Flipkart, India's largest e-commerce company, in a high-profile deal. Post-acquisition, Bansal continued to lead Myntra and also assumed the role of Head of Fashion at Flipkart. He resigned from Flipkart in February 2016 to pursue new ventures.

After his departure from Flipkart, Bansal co-founded

cult.fit) in 2016 alongside Ankit Nagori, a former Flipkart colleague.
