Mortka

Mortka is a rural locality (a selo) in Konda District, Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug, Russia. It serves as the administrative center of the Mortka Rural Settlement (Russian: Морткинское сельское поселение).

Geography: Mortka is located in the western part of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug, a federal subject of Russia. It is situated on the banks of the Konda River, a left tributary of the Irtysh River, which flows into the Ob. The surrounding area is characterized by the taiga forest and wetlands typical of Western Siberia.
