Club Career
Esseboom began his professional career with Telstar during the 2000–01 season. He then moved to FC Volendam, playing for the Eerste Divisie club during the 2001–02 season. His professional career consisted of one league appearance for FC Volendam, totaling 17 minutes of playing time, with no goals scored.
Following his professional stint, Esseboom played for several amateur sides in the Netherlands, including Wherevogels, Purmersteijn, Oosthuizen, and FC Purmerend. He retired from football in July 2012.
