Mohit Raina is an Indian actor primarily known for his work in Hindi television, films, and web series. He gained widespread recognition for portraying the role of Lord Shiva in the mythological television series Devon Ke Dev...Mahadev (2011–2014).
Early Life and Career Beginnings Born on August 14, 1982, in Jammu, Jammu and Kashmir, Mohit Raina began his acting career with the science fiction television series Antariksh – Ek Amar Katha (2004). He subsequently appeared in shows like Don Muthu Swami (2008) and Chehra (2009).
Breakthrough and Television Success Raina's career took a significant turn with his portrayal of Lord Shiva in Life OK's Devon Ke Dev...Mahadev. His powerful performance and commanding screen presence earned him immense popularity and critical acclaim, establishing him as a prominent face in Indian television. Following this success, he played the titular role in the historical drama Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat (2015–2016) and later essayed the role of Havildar Ishar Singh in 21 Sarfarosh - Saragarhi 1897 (2018).
