Moghanak-e Sofla

Moghanak-e Sofla (Persian: مغانك سفلي, also Romanized as Moghānak-e Soflá) is a village located in the Central District of Kermanshah County, within Kermanshah Province, Iran. Administratively, the village is part of the Miyan Darreh Rural District.

According to the national census conducted in 2006, Moghanak-e Sofla had a population of 96 residents, comprising 23 families. The settlement observes Iran Standard Time (IRST, UTC+3:30) and Iran Daylight Time (IRDT, UTC+4:30) during daylight‑saving periods.

The name “Sofla” (سفلي) in Persian denotes “lower,” distinguishing the village from a similarly named counterpart that may carry the suffix “Olya” (upper).
