Miyan Williams is an American football running back who played collegiate football for the Ohio State Buckeyes. Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, he attended Winton Woods High School, where he was a highly rated recruit before committing to Ohio State University.
During his tenure at Ohio State (2020–2023), Williams became known for a physical, downhill running style. His most statistically significant season occurred in 2022, during which he earned Second-team or Third-team All-Big Ten honors depending on the voting body (coaches or media). In that season, he rushed for 825 yards and 14 touchdowns despite missing time due to injury. One of his notable performances included a five-touchdown game against Rutgers, which tied a school record for rushing touchdowns in a single game.
Williams' collegiate career was marked by several injuries that limited his playing time in his final seasons. Following the 2023 season, he declared for the 2024 NFL Draft. He is recognized in sports media for his low center of gravity and ability to gain yards after contact.
