Founded in 2008 by entertainment industry veterans Cindy Bond and Chevonne O'Shaughnessy, MPI is headquartered in Calabasas, California, with offices in Studio City and Van Nuys. The company focuses on developing, packaging, financing, producing, and distributing high-quality inspirational and faith-friendly feature films and television programming for global audiences.
Since its inception, MPI has produced and distributed over 200 family-friendly films. Notable titles include I Can Only Imagine (2018), which became a breakout independent hit grossing over $83.4 million in domestic ticket sales and earning an A+ Cinemascore; Redeeming Love (2022), released by Universal Pictures; Like Dandelion Dust; Seven Days in Utopia; The 5th Quarter; and Hallmark Channel's Enchanted Christmas and The Shunning.
The company's CEO and founder is Cindy Bond, a global leader in the production and distribution of faith-friendly films with over 200 films to her credit. Ashley Grifka serves as President of the company.
MPI annually exhibits at major film and television markets, including NATPE, the Berlin International Film Festival, FILMART, MIP-TV, the Marché du Film in Cannes, MIPCOM, and the American Film Market (AFM).
