Miroslav Atanasov Mind ev (Bulgarian: Мирослав Миндев; born 27 July 1980) is a Bulgarian former professional football forward and current football manager.
Early life and playing career
Born in Sliven, Bulgaria, Mindev began his senior career with Olimpik Sliven in 1997. Over a fifteen‑year playing span he represented a number of Bulgarian clubs—including Naftex Burgas, Beroe Stara Zagora, Cherno More Varna, and OFC Sliven 2000—as well as brief stints abroad with KS Lushnja in Albania and AD Parla in Spain. Primarily deployed as a forward, he made 326 league appearances and scored 106 goals. Notably, while at Sliven 2000 he was the top scorer of the Bulgarian Second Division in consecutive seasons (2006–07, 20 goals; 2007–08, 25 goals) and served as captain of his hometown club.
Managerial career
After retiring as a player, Mindev transitioned to coaching. He managed Zagorets Nova Zagora from 2014 to 2021, guiding the team to the title of the Southeastern Third League in the 2016–17 season. In May 2021 he was appointed head coach of CSKA 1948 II and, shortly thereafter in July 2021, promoted to the senior CSKA 1948 side. He returned to Zagorets Nova Zagora in 2022, where he continues as manager.
