Mirka Cabrera

Mirka Cabrera Mazzini (born c. 1994) is an Ecuadorian television presenter, journalist, and beauty pageant titleholder. She is best known for being crowned Miss Ecuador 2017 and subsequently representing her country at the Miss Universe 2017 competition.

Early life and education

Mirka Cabrera Mazzini was born in Machala, El Oro Province, Ecuador. She pursued higher education at the Universidad Católica Santiago de Guayaquil, where she studied Social Communication and Journalism. Prior to her participation in beauty pageants, Cabrera gained experience as a model and host.

Pageantry

Cabrera's journey in pageantry culminated in her participation in the Miss Ecuador 2017 competition. Representing her home province of El Oro, she was crowned Miss Ecuador on April 22, 2017, succeeding Connie Jiménez. As Miss Ecuador, she earned the right to represent her nation on the international stage.

She subsequently competed at Miss Universe 2017, held in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States, on November 26, 2017. Despite her efforts, she did not place among the semi-finalists in the competition.

Career

Following her reign as Miss Ecuador, Mirka Cabrera transitioned into a career in media and television. She has become a recognizable personality on Ecuadorian television, primarily working as a presenter and reporter.
