The Milwaukee Monarchs are a professional women's soccer team based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, United States. The club is an inaugural member of the [[USL Super League]], a new Division I women's professional soccer league in the United States, with their first season scheduled to begin in August 2024.

History

The establishment of the Milwaukee Monarchs was officially announced on May 22, 2024, as one of the founding clubs of the USL Super League. The team's formation is part of a broader initiative to bring top-tier professional soccer to Milwaukee, complementing the forthcoming men's [[USL Championship]] team that shares the same ownership group. League Affiliation

The Monarchs compete in the USL Super League. The Milwaukee Monarchs are owned by the Milwaukee Pro Soccer group, a consortium led by Jim and Laurie Kacmarcik, and including the [[Milwaukee Brewers]]. This ownership group is also responsible for bringing a men's USL Championship team to Milwaukee, sharing a commitment to fostering professional soccer in the city.
