Miloš Okuka

Miloš Okuka is a Bosnian and Herzegovinian historian and academic. He is known for his research on the modern history of Bosnia and Herzegovina, with particular emphasis on the World War II era and the conflicts that accompanied the dissolution of Yugoslavia in the 1990s. Okuka has held a professorial position at the University of Banja Luka, where he has taught courses on contemporary history and historiography.

His scholarly output includes monographs, peer‑reviewed articles, and edited volumes that examine topics such as inter‑ethnic relations, wartime atrocities, and the political developments of the former Yugoslav republics.
