Millstone

A millstone is a large, heavy stone used in pairs to grind grain into flour or meal in a mill. The two stones consist of a stationary lower stone, called the bedstone or bowlstone, and a rotating upper stone, known as the runner stone or turnstone, which turns against the stationary stone to crush and grind the grain.
