The Migration Matters Trust is a British campaign formed by cross-party politicians, business executives, and trade unionists, established in 2013. Its stated aim is to foster "an open and honest debate about the issues of migration" that "acknowledges the positives of migration, while directly confronting the challenges."
The Trust was co-chaired by Labour former MP Barbara Roche, Conservative MP Nadhim Zahawi, and Liberal Democrat Lord Navnit Dholakia. It is generally regarded as a counterweight to MigrationWatch, a UK-based think tank that advocates for stricter immigration controls.
The organization sought to promote a more balanced public discussion on immigration in the United Kingdom, emphasizing both the economic and social benefits of managed migration as well as the challenges it presents.
