Mid Michigan Derby Girls

The Mid Michigan Derby Girls (MMDG) is a women’s flat track roller derby league based in Flint, Michigan. Established in 2008, the league operates as a skater-owned and operated non-profit organization.

The league became an apprentice member of the Women's Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA) in 2010 and achieved full member status in June 2011. As a member of the WFTDA, the league competes in sanctioned bouts that contribute to international rankings. The organization follows the rules and safety protocols established by this governing body.

The Mid Michigan Derby Girls primarily host home games and practice sessions at the Dort Financial Center (formerly known as the Perani Arena and Event Center) in Flint. The league is composed of several teams, including a travel team that competes against other WFTDA member leagues across the Midwest and nationally.

The organization is funded through ticket sales, sponsorships, and dues paid by the participating athletes. In addition to athletic competition, the league frequently engages in community service and charity events within the Genesee County area.
