Michele Amas

Michele Amas (1973 – 25 November 2016) was a New Zealand actress known for her work in television and theatre. She made significant contributions to the performing arts scene in her home country.

Amas was a familiar face on New Zealand television, starring in several prominent drama series. She gained widespread recognition for her role as Dr. Janet Maxwell in the popular medical soap opera Shortland Street. Her other notable television credits included playing Megan in Jackson's Wharf and various guest appearances in the critically acclaimed series Outrageous Fortune.
