Michal Kabáč

Michal Kabáč (born December 1, 1995) is a Slovak professional ice hockey player who competes as a forward, primarily in the Slovak Extraliga.

Early Career Kabáč developed through the youth system of MHC Martin in Slovakia. During the 2014–15 season, he moved to North America to play major junior hockey for the Saskatoon Blades in the Western Hockey League (WHL), where he recorded 15 points in 66 games.

Professional Career Upon returning to Slovakia, Kabáč established himself as a regular player in the Slovak Extraliga (currently known as the Tipos Extraliga). He joined HC '05 Banská Bystrica, where he experienced significant professional success. He was a member of the squads that won back-to-back Slovak Extraliga championships during the 2017–18 and 2018–19 seasons.

Throughout his career, Kabáč has also played for other Slovak clubs, including HK Nitra and HK Dukla Michalovce. He is generally utilized as a physical forward, often contributing in defensive situations and on the penalty kill.

International Play Kabáč represented Slovakia at the international level as a junior. He was a member of the Slovak national team at the 2015 IIHF World U20 Championship, where the team achieved a bronze medal finish.
