Meymunak (Persian: ميمونك, also romanized as Meymūnak) is a small village in Khandan Rural District, Tarom Sofla District, Qazvin County, Qazvin Province, northwestern Iran.
Geography
The village is situated in mountainous and valley terrain between the provinces of Qazvin and Zanjan. Its geographical coordinates are approximately 36°40′04″N 49°04′34″E.

At the 2006 census, Meymunak had a population of 15 people, living in 4 families.
Etymology
The name Meymunak derives from the Persian word meymun (میمون), meaning "monkey," with the suffix -ak serving as a diminutive. The name thus suggests a meaning along the lines of "little monkey" or "place of monkeys," though direct etymological records for this specific settlement are scarce.
