Mehmet Sabancı (1963–2004) was a Turkish businessman and a member of the prominent Sabancı family, one of Turkey's leading industrial and commercial dynasties. He was the son of Sakıp Sabancı, a major figure in Turkish business. Mehmet Sabancı held executive positions within the Sabancı Group, a large conglomerate with interests in banking, energy, textiles, and other sectors.
He served as the chairman of Diatek, a telecommunications company under the Sabancı Group, and was involved in the development of various business ventures in emerging markets during the late 1990s and early 2000s.
Mehmet Sabancı died on March 10, 2004, in Istanbul, under circumstances widely reported as a homicide, along with his sister, Gülüstan Dindar, and family friend Ebru Kırık. The event drew significant media attention and legal proceedings followed, resulting in convictions related to the case.
He was known for his interest in modern technology and entrepreneurship, and contributed to the expansion of the Sabancı Group's international portfolio during his tenure.
