Max and Harvey

Max and Harvey are an English twin singing duo consisting of identical brothers Max Luca Mills (born 31 December 2002) and Harvey Kitt Mills, who grew up in Sandhurst, Berkshire, England. They first entered the public eye as child actors, appearing on ITV’s drama William & Mary in 2005, before beginning to sing together at age eight.

Early career and rise to fame

The brothers joined the short‑form video platform musical.ly (later TikTok) in March 2016, where they gained a substantial following by lip‑syncing popular songs and later posting original content. Their early online popularity translated into a music career; they released their debut single “One More Day in Love” in December 2016, followed by additional singles such as a cover of “Let Me Love You” (January 2017) and originals “Stuck on the Ceiling,” “Words,” and the Christmas‑themed “I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday.”

In 2018 they signed with RMI Records, a label formed by Disney Music Group, becoming its first artists. Their subsequent releases include the singles “Trade Hearts” (October 2018), the EP Coming Soon (February 2019), and collaborations such as “Electric” with Jayden Bartels (July 2019). They continued to issue independent tracks like “Stranger” (September 2019).

Television and media appearances

Max and Harvey competed in The X Factor: Celebrity (2019), finishing in second place. The BBC’s children’s channel CBBC aired a documentary series, My Life: Max & Harvey (2017), and later gave them their own show titled “Fear Of Missing Out” (FOMO) in 2018. They have also hosted events such as Nickelodeon’s Slimefest 2021.

Social media presence

The duo maintains a strong online following, with over seven million TikTok followers and a substantial presence on Instagram, YouTube, and other platforms. Their early success was bolstered by short‑form video virality, and they continue to engage fans through music releases, live streams, and charitable initiatives.

Charitable work

Max and Harvey serve as patrons of the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital Charity. In April 2020 they hosted a 24‑hour livestream that raised more than £7,000 for the hospital and the Sebastian’s Action Trust.
