Max Klesmit

Max Klesmit (born November 23 1999) is an American professional basketball player. He played collegiate basketball for the Wisconsin Badgers of the Big Ten Conference from 2018 to 2022. During his senior season, Klesmit was a key contributor to Wisconsin’s run to the 2022 Big Ten tournament championship, earning tournament Most Outstanding Player honors.

Early life and education
Klesmit was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He attended West Allis Central High School, where he was a multi‑sport athlete and earned all‑state honors in basketball.

College career

  • Freshman season (2018‑19): Appeared in 33 games, averaging 3.5 points and 2.2 rebounds per game.
  • Sophomore season (2019‑20): Increased production to 8.9 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 2.4 assists per game.

Professional career
After going undrafted in the 2022 NBA Draft, Klesmit signed an Exhibit 10 contract with the NBA’s Milwaukee Bucks organization and was assigned to their G League affiliate, the Wisconsin Herd. He later joined the Lakeland Magic of the NBA G League for the 2023–24 season.
