Maurizio Pochettino is a professional footballer, born on March 30, 2001, in Barcelona, Spain. He is the son of the Argentine football manager and former player Mauricio Pochettino.
Pochettino began his youth development at the Southampton academy before moving to the Tottenham Hotspur academy in 2017. He signed his first professional contract with Tottenham in 2019. In January 2021, he joined Watford on a free transfer, where he made his senior professional debut in the EFL Championship during a match against Wycombe Wanderers.
In July 2022, Pochettino moved to Spain to sign with Gimnàstic de Tarragona. He has since played for other Spanish clubs, including CD Ibiza Islas Pitiusas. His primary position is as a winger, typically operating on the right side of the formation. He holds dual citizenship and is of Argentine descent through his parents.
