Matthias Rácz

Matthias Rácz (born 1981 in Berlin) is a German classical bassoonist and professor. He is recognized for his contributions to the world of classical music through his solo performances, orchestral work, and pedagogical activities.

Early Life and Education

Matthias Rácz began his musical training at an early age. He pursued his studies at two renowned German institutions:

  • The Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler Berlin, where he studied with Professor Klaus Thunemann.
  • The Hochschule für Musik und Theater München, under the tutelage of Professor Dag Jensen. His early talent was recognized through his participation in the Bundesjugendorchester (German National Youth Orchestra), and he quickly began accumulating prizes in national and international competitions.
