Matija Kranjc (born 12 June 1984 in Ljubljana) is a Slovenian track and field athlete who competes in the javelin throw. He is the Slovenian national record holder in the event.

Career
Kranjc represented Slovenia at the Summer Olympic Games on two occasions: in 2008 in Beijing (placing 31st in qualification) and in 2012 in London (placing 40th in qualification). He also competed at the World Championships in Daegu in 2011 (31st in qualification).
His most notable international achievement came at the 2009 Mediterranean Games in Pescara, Italy, where he won a bronze medal with a throw of 77.82 metres. He also placed 8th at the European Championships in Zürich in 2014 with a throw of 78.27 metres.
National Record
Kranjc set the Slovenian national record in the javelin throw on 18 June 2016, achieving a personal best of 81.13 metres.
