Markowizna [markɔˈvizna] is a settlement (kolonia) in central Poland, located in the administrative district of Gmina Sulmierzyce, within Pajęczno County, Łódź Voivodeship.

Status and history
Until 2023, Markowizna was classified as a przysiółek (hamlet) of the village of Łęczyska. In 2023, its status was changed to a kolonia (settlement/colony) by administrative regulation. During the period from 1975 to 1998, the settlement administratively belonged to the Piotrków Voivodeship. Since the 1999 administrative reform of Poland, it has been part of the Łódź Voivodeship.
Geography
Markowizna is situated in the southern part of Łódź Voivodeship, near the border with the Silesian Voivodeship. Nearby localities include Wola Wydrzyna, Nowa Wieś, Łęczyska, and Stróża.
