Etymology/Origin
The surname “LeCras” is of French origin, derived from the French words le (the) and cras (an old variant of “crasse,” meaning “dirt” or “grime”). As a family name, it is relatively uncommon in Australia and likely reflects French ancestry in LeCras’s heritage. The given name “Mark” is of Latin origin, from Marcus, meaning “dedicated to Mars,” the Roman god of war.
