Mark Juddery (8 June 1973 – 13 January 2015) was an Australian journalist, columnist, and author. Born in Canberra, Australian Capital Territory, he built a career as a freelance writer contributing to a range of national publications, including The Australian, The Sydney Morning Herald, The Age, and The Weekend Australian. His writing was noted for its humor and insight on contemporary cultural and social issues.
Juddery authored several books, among them The Rich(ish) Laugh: A Guide to Getting Some Money into Your Pocket (2005) and The Big Book of Food in Australia (2008). He also contributed regularly to Australian Broadcasting Corporation radio programs and appeared as a commentator on television.
In recognition of his contributions to journalism, Juddery received the 2012 Walkley Award for Feature Writing. He continued to write and speak on a variety of topics until his death from melanoma at the age of 41. His work remains cited in discussions of Australian media and cultural commentary.
