Mark Blumberg (born 1970) is an American developmental neuroscientist and professor of psychology at Princeton University. He is known for his research on the neural and behavioral mechanisms underlying infant development, particularly motor development, sensory perception, and the emergence of cognition in early life.
Education and career
- B.A. in Psychology, University of Chicago, 1992.
- Ph.D. in Neuroscience, University of California, San Diego, 1998, under the supervision of Michael C. Kandel.
- Postdoctoral fellowship in Developmental Neurobiology, Harvard Medical School, 1998–2001.
- Joined the faculty of Princeton University in 2002, where he holds appointments in the Department of Psychology and the Department of Molecular Biology.
