Mario Daniel Pinedo Chore (born 9 April 1964 in El Naranjal, Montero, Santa Cruz, Bolivia) is a Bolivian former professional footballer who played as a midfielder.
Club career
Pinedo began his senior career in 1985 with Club Destroyers, where he remained until 1992. He subsequently represented several top‑division Bolivian clubs: Oriente Petrolero (1993–1994), Blooming (1995) and Real Santa Cruz (1996–1999). Over the course of his club career he recorded 23 goals. He retired from professional football in 1999 while at Real Santa Cruz.
International career
Pinedo earned 22 caps for the Bolivia national team, scoring three goals. He was selected for Bolivia’s squad at the 1994 FIFA World Cup in the United States, the nation’s sole appearance in a World Cup finals tournament to date. Although he did not take the field during the tournament matches, his inclusion in the squad underscored his role in Bolivian football during the early 1990s.
