Career
González turned professional in 2014 with the ActiveJet team. His most notable victory came in 2018 when he won the third and final stage of the Volta Internacional Cova da Beira (part of the GP Beiras e Serra da Estrela), a stage that was shortened due to weather conditions. He also won the mountains classification for that same event.
