Marika Šoposká

Marika Šoposká (born 13 June 1990) is a Slovak actress who works in film, television, and theatre. She was born in Bratislava, Slovakia, and completed her formal training at the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava (Vysoká škola múzických umení, VŠMU), graduating in 2012.

Šoposká began her acting career with roles in Slovak theatrical productions before transitioning to screen work. She gained wider recognition for her performance in the television series „Kuty a my“ (2014) and the feature film „Učiteľka“ (2016). Subsequent notable appearances include the TV series „Ostrov“ (2018) and the film „Sklená” (2020), both of which contributed to her reputation as a versatile performer in Slovak‑Czech media.

In addition to screen acting, Šoposká remains active on stage, performing in productions at the Slovak National Theatre and other regional venues. She is regarded for her ability to portray complex emotional characters and has received nominations for domestic acting awards, though she has not yet secured a major national award.
