Marek Střeštík

Marek Střeštík (born 1 February 1987) is a Czech professional footballer who primarily plays as an attacking midfielder or winger. He has had an extensive career playing for various clubs in the Czech Republic and Hungary, known for his technical ability and offensive contributions.

Early Life and Career Born in Kopřivnice, Czechoslovakia (now Czech Republic), Střeštík developed his football skills in the youth academies of local clubs before joining FC Zlín (then FC Tescoma Zlín). He progressed through their youth ranks, eventually making his senior debut for the club.

Club Career Střeštík began his professional career with FC Tescoma Zlín in the Czech First League. His promising performances led to a transfer to FC Zbrojovka Brno, another prominent club in the top Czech division. After several seasons establishing himself in his home country, Střeštík moved abroad in 2013, joining Hungarian club Győri ETO FC.

His tenure in Hungary was significant, as he played for several Nemzeti Bajnokság I clubs, including Vasas SC and Mezőkövesd Zsóry FC, where he became a key player. Střeštík also had a brief spell in Cyprus with AEL Limassol. He subsequently returned to the Czech Republic for stints with clubs like FK Mladá Boleslav, and had further periods with both FC Zbrojovka Brno and FC Fastav Zlín, showcasing his enduring presence in professional football.

International Career Střeštík represented the Czech Republic at various youth levels, including the Czech Republic U21 national team. He participated in international youth competitions, gaining valuable experience, though he did not receive a call-up to the senior national team.
