Marc Oliveras

Marc Oliveras (born 6 July 1991) is an Andorran alpine ski racer who has competed internationally, including representing Andorra at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi and the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang.

Early life and background
Oliveras was born in Andorra la Vella, Andorra. He began skiing at a young age and progressed through the national development programs for alpine skiing in Andorra.

Skiing career

World Cup and European circuit
Oliveras made his debut on the FIS (International Ski Federation) circuit in the early 2010s, competing primarily in the technical disciplines of slalom and giant slalom. Over his career, he has participated in multiple FIS World Cup events and European Cup races, achieving points finishes that contributed to his international ranking.

Olympic participation

  • 2014 Winter Olympics (Sochi): Oliveras competed in the men's giant slalom and men's slalom events. He completed the giant slalom, finishing 44th, but did not finish the slalom.
  • 2018 Winter Olympics (Pyeongchang): He again represented Andorra in the men's giant slalom, finishing 39th.
