Mallory Weber

Mallory A. Weber (born 1994) is an American professional soccer player who plays as a defender and midfielder. She has competed in the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) for multiple clubs, including the Boston Breakers, Utah Royals FC, Kansas City Current, and NJ/NY Gotham FC.

Early life and education
Weber was raised in the United States and developed an interest in soccer at a young age. She attended Penn State University, where she played for the Penn State Nittany Lions women's soccer team. During her collegiate career, she appeared in numerous matches and contributed to the team’s competitive performances in the Big Ten Conference.

Professional career

  • Boston Breakers (2016–2017): Weber entered the NWSL after being selected in the 2016 NWSL College Draft by the Boston Breakers. She made her professional debut with the club and appeared in a limited number of matches during the 2016 and 2017 seasons.
  • Utah Royals FC (2018–2020): Following the dissolution of the Breakers, Weber signed with the Utah Royals FC, where she saw increased playing time and became a regular member of the defensive line.
  • Kansas City Current (2021–2022): After the Utah Royals folded, the franchise was relocated and rebranded as Kansas City Current. Weber continued with the team, contributing both defensively and in midfield roles.
  • NJ/NY Gotham FC (2023–present): Weber joined NJ/NY Gotham FC ahead of the 2023 NWSL season, where she remains on the roster and participates in league matches.
