Overview
Malaysia participated in the 2022 Asian Para Games, which were held in Hangzhou, China, from 22 to 28 October 2023 (the event retained the “2022” designation despite the postponement). The Games featured athletes with disabilities competing in a wide range of sports under the governance of the Asian Paralympic Committee (APC).
Delegation
The Malaysian contingent was organized by the Malaysian Paralympic Council (MPC) and included athletes, coaches, officials, and support staff. The delegation competed across several sporting disciplines, including athletics, swimming, powerlifting, table tennis, badminton, wheelchair basketball, wheelchair tennis, boccia, and para‑archery.

Preparation and support

Malaysia’s performance reinforced its status as a rising nation in Asian para‑sport.
