Malacca Tengah (Malay: Daerah Melaka Tengah) is one of the three administrative districts in the Malaysian state of Malacca (Melaka). The district encompasses the state capital, Malacca City, and its surrounding urban and suburban areas. It is commonly referred to in English as “Central Malacca.”
Geography
- Located on the southwestern coast of Peninsular Malaysia, the district borders the Strait of Malacca to the west.
