Makur Maker (born 18 November 1999) is an Australian professional basketball player. He was born in Nairobi, Kenya, to Nigerian parents and moved to Australia at a young age, where he began playing basketball in his early teens.
College career
Maker played two seasons (2018–2020) at Howard College, a junior college in Texas, where he was named a NJCAA All‑American. He transferred to the University of South Carolina for the 2020–2021 NCAA season, appearing in 23 games and averaging 6.9 points and 4.2 rebounds per game.
Professional career
After completing his college eligibility, Maker pursued a professional career. He signed with the Adelaide 36ers of the National Basketball League (Australia) for the 2022–2023 season. In 2023, he joined the NBA G League, playing for the Wisconsin Herd.
