Majed Al-Shamrani (Arabic: ماجد الشمراني; full name: Majed Mohammed Al-Shamrani) is a Saudi Arabian association football referee. He became a FIFA-listed international referee in 2019 and primarily officiates matches under the Asian Football Confederation (AFC).
Career
Al-Shamrani began his professional refereeing career in the Saudi Professional League (now the Saudi Pro League), making his debut on 14 February 2020. He also officiates matches in the King's Cup and the Arab Club Champions Cup.
In 2019, he was added to the FIFA International Referees List, qualifying him to officiate international matches. He also serves as a Video Match Official (VAR).
International Appointments
Al-Shamrani was selected as one of the referees for the 2024 AFC U-23 Asian Cup, a major international tournament for under-23 national teams in Asia.
