Mahabadi is a city located in West Azerbaijan Province, Iran. It is situated in a fertile plain south of Lake Urmia and is known for its agricultural production, particularly apples and grapes. Mahabadi is the capital of Mahabad County and is connected to other major cities in the region by road.
