Magical Suite Prism Nana (まじかるすいーと プリズム・ナナ, Majikaru Suīto Purizumu Nana) is a Japanese magical girl multimedia project created by the animation studio Shaft, with original character designs by illustrator Kantoku. The project was first announced on August 1, 2012, and debuted at Comiket 82 on August 10, 2012.
Overview
The project centers on adolescent girls living in the fictional "Nanagoo City" (七業市), a city in Japan surrounded by mountains and ocean. The girls transform into elemental heroines known as "Nanas" to fight against monsters. The project is notable for its "star system" approach, in which the same character designs are used across different episodes, but each episode is created by a different director with freedom to determine the setting, story, and character interpretation.
Pilot Promotional Videos (2012–2013)
Seven pilot promotional videos (PVs) were produced and released between August 10, 2012, and April 25, 2013. Each was directed by a different director, who were not informed of each other's work. The directors were:

Original Video Animation (OVA) Series
In July 2015, it was announced that the project would receive an OVA series produced by Shaft. The OVA was planned to consist of seven episodes, each with a different director and writer. As of available records, four OVA episodes have been released or announced:

The main characters and their transformed identities include:

Itaru Washioka (鷲岡 至) / Heat Nana (ヒートナナ) — Voiced by Suzuko Mimori. The leader who wields the power of fire. Her main weapon is a gauntlet on her left arm. She is a cheerful girl who dreams of going to space in a rocket she designed.

Asuka Asagi (浅木 飛鳥) / Earth Nana (アースナナ) — Voiced by Asami Imai. A polite girl who wields the power of earth. Her main weapon is a bow and arrow. She is the heir to a long-established family and carries many expectations.

Kotone Oribe (織部 琴音) / Aqua Nana (アクアナナ) — Voiced by Eri Kitamura. A shy girl who wields the power of water. Her main weapon is an electric guitar. She is a transfer student from the city who loves singing.
