Magdalena Joanna Śliwa (née Szryniawska; born 17 November 1969 in Maków Podhalański) is a Polish former professional volleyball player and current coach. She is widely recognized as one of the most accomplished Polish volleyball players of her era.
Career Overview
Śliwa played as a setter and was a long-standing member of the Poland women's national volleyball team from 1990 to 2007. She holds the national record for the most appearances for the Polish women's team, with 359 caps.

Coaching Career
After retiring as a player in 2015, she became an assistant coach to Marco Bonitta for the Poland women's national volleyball team. She has also served as a coach for MKS Dąbrowa Górnicza (second team).
Personal Life
Śliwa is married and has a daughter, Izabela Śliwa (born 11 December 1990), who also became a professional volleyball player. Mother and daughter played together on the same team, Atom Trefl Sopot, during the 2010/2011 season.
