Lyne Chardonnet (1943–1980) was a French actress who appeared in numerous films and television productions during the 1960s and 1970s. Born on May 5, 1943, in Paris, she received formal training in acting at the Conservatoire National Supérieur d'Art Dramatique (CNSAD).
Chardonnet’s film career is characterized by roles in several notable French and international productions. She gained significant attention for her performance in Benjamin ou les Mémoires d'un puceau (1968), directed by Michel Deville, and played a supporting role in the historical drama Mayerling (1968), directed by Terence Young. In 1969, she appeared as Arabelle in the film Mon oncle Benjamin, directed by Édouard Molinaro, starring alongside Jacques Brel.
In addition to her work in cinema, Chardonnet was active in French television. She appeared in various series and television movies, including the 1972 period drama Les Gens de Mogador. Her career spanned approximately fifteen years, during which she worked with several prominent directors of the era.
Lyne Chardonnet died on December 11, 1980, in Enghien-les-Bains, France, at the age of 37. The cause of death was reported as liver cancer. She is buried in the cemetery of Saint-Ouen.
