Luke Hume is an Australian professional rugby league footballer who primarily played as a fullback or winger. His career spanned both the National Rugby League (NRL) in Australia and the Super League and Championship competitions in England.
Born in Batemans Bay, New South Wales, Hume began his rugby league journey with the Batemans Bay Tigers junior club. He progressed through the ranks to make his professional debut.
Hume commenced his NRL career with the St. George Illawarra Dragons, making his first-grade appearance in 2010. He subsequently played for the Parramatta Eels in 2011. Following his stint in the NRL, Hume moved to England to join the Castleford Tigers in the Super League for the 2012 season. He continued his career in England, playing for several clubs including the Batley Bulldogs, London Broncos, and Bradford Bulls.
