Lucas Bijker (born 4 March 1993) is a Dutch professional footballer who plays as a left-back or centre-back.
Early Life and Youth Career Bijker was born in Leidschendam, Netherlands. He began his youth football career with local clubs before joining the academy of SC Cambuur, where he progressed through their youth ranks.
Club Career
- SC Cambuur: Bijker made his professional debut for SC Cambuur during the 2011–12 season. He quickly established himself as a versatile defender, capable of playing both at left-back and as a central defender. He was a key player in the team that achieved promotion to the Eredivisie in the 2012–13 season. He continued to play for Cambuur in the Eredivisie until 2015.
- NAC Breda: In the summer of 2015, Bijker moved to NAC Breda, who were then playing in the Eerste Divisie. He spent two seasons with the club, contributing to their promotion back to the Eredivisie at the end of the 2016–17 season.
- K.V. Mechelen: Following his successful spell at NAC Breda, Bijker moved abroad to Belgium, joining K.V. Mechelen in July 2017. He played for the club during their stint in the Belgian First Division B and was part of the squad that won the Belgian Cup in the 2018–19 season, though he saw limited action in the cup final itself.
- RKC Waalwijk: After his time in Belgium, Bijker returned to the Netherlands, signing with RKC Waalwijk in July 2019. He became a regular starter for the Eredivisie club, providing experience and defensive solidity.
International Career Bijker has represented the Netherlands at various youth levels, including the Netherlands U17 and U19 teams.
