Losna (lake)

Losna is a lake situated in Innlandet county, Norway, spanning the municipalities of Ringebu and Øyer. The water body forms part of the Gudbrandsdalslågen river, where the river broadens sufficiently to be classified as a lake.

Hydrology Losna lies on a slow‑moving, wide section of the Gudbrandsdalslågen river, which expands into this lake before continuing downstream. The lake’s watershed is entirely within Norway.

Infrastructure Both the European route E6 highway and the Dovrebanen railway line run along Losna’s shores, providing major transportation corridors through the region.
