Los Glaciares National Park

Los Glaciares National Park (Spanish: Parque Nacional Los Glaciares) is a protected area in the southern region of Argentina, located primarily within the province of Santa Cruz. Established on May 11 1937, the park encompasses an area of approximately 726,927 hectares (7,269 km²). It was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1999 for its outstanding natural values, particularly its extensive glacial systems and mountainous landscapes.
