Long Lake Provincial Park (Alberta)

Long Lake Provincial Park is a provincial park situated in the Canadian province of Alberta, within Thorhild County. The park lies approximately one and a half hours north‑east of Edmonton along Highway 831, south of the village of Boyle and northeast of Newbrook. Its geographic coordinates are 54°26′35″ N 112°46′16″ W, and it occupies an area of about 14.3 km² (5.5 sq mi) at an elevation of roughly 625 m (2,051 ft).

The park was officially established on 25 March 1957 and is administered by Alberta Tourism, Parks and Recreation, a division of the provincial government’s Environment and Parks ministry.

Recreational opportunities

Long Lake Provincial Park offers a range of seasonal activities:
