Loha (1987 film)

Loha is a 1987 Indian Hindi-language action film directed by Raj N. Sippy and produced by Sunil Bohra. The film stars Dharmendra, Mithun Chakraborty, Mandakini, Madhavi, and Amrish Puri in lead roles, with Shatrughan Sinha making a special appearance. Plot The story revolves around Inspector Shankar (Dharmendra), an honest and dedicated police officer. His life takes a tragic turn when his family is brutally murdered by Purushottam (Amrish Puri), a ruthless and influential crime lord whom Shankar had previously tried to expose. Devastated and framed for a crime he didn't commit, Shankar is dishonorably discharged from the police force. Burning with a desire for revenge, he embarks on a solo mission to dismantle Purushottam's empire. During his quest, he encounters Amar (Mithun Chakraborty), a young man also seeking retribution against Purushottam for personal grievances. The two men, united by their common enemy and thirst for justice, team up to bring down the formidable crime boss. Their journey is fraught with challenges, intense confrontations, and moral dilemmas as they navigate the dangerous underworld to avenge their loved ones.
